It has been claimed that radon, a class 1 carcinogen, was detected at higher than the recommended standard in the B-1 bunker inside the Army Capital Defense Command. People Power Party lawmaker Yoo Yong-won held a press conference at the National Assembly and disclosed the radon levels measured by the military in some areas of the bunker in 2020, 2022, and 2024.
